Ther bad news first. If you purchase it from Argos, this lens hood will currently set you back £4,747.

According to the news item on Amateur Photographer, the pricing anomaly was reported to Argos a few days ago, but at the time of writing the cost is unchanged and the company has yet to respond to a request for comment.

And the good news? Delivery is free.

It looks as though Argos has finally acted and the link to the lens hood is no longer active, although it was still working late yesterday. The correct price, apparently, should have been £47, which is still exorbitant for a bit of plastic.
